Joyceline Mazerolle

Joyceline Mazerolle

A Fredericton NB based self-taught artist, Joyceline Mazerolle has been a creative since youth and has been honing her style and creativity for several years in the unceded and traditional territory of the Wolastoqiyik and Mi’kmaw Nations. Since 2018, Mazerolle has taken her distinctive, quirky art to new levels working in her JoslynRoad Studio, gaining collectors and commissions across North America. Her art is infused with natural wonder, friendship, and a desire to share joy. Mazerolle’s vibrant style is characterized by an expressive use of primary colour and playfulness. Her influences, too many to note, gives them all a nod for their study, skill and virtual mentorship. While she has experimented with various mediums including charcoal, graphite, oil, and wax, acrylic remains her preferred medium in mix media concepts and explorations allowing her to create deep, sensory textures that make her art incredibly tactile and engaging.

Past exhibitions of her work have included in the Rendezvous des artistes, Sackville Bordertown Art Fair, Shediac Artists Village Exposition, Grassroots Gallery, ConnexionARC Members’ Art Show and the past Capital Art Sales. Her work can also be found several times a year at Issac’s Way Art Auction and The Abbey Café and Gallery as well. Having grown up in the Madawaska County, New Brunswick she is bilingual and converses with patrons of art in both official languages.
